A list of speakers and contributors for the 6th annual SWAN conference, 15-16 April, can be found below. Speaker Biographies Sue White Sue White is Professor of Social Work (Children and Families) at the University of Birmingham. She is a registered social worker and was employed as a practitioner and manager in statutory children’s services for 13 years.  Her research focuses primarily on the analysis of professional decision making in child welfare practice. During 2009 Sue served on the Social Work Task Force and now sits on the Social Work Reform Board. She is Chair of the Association of Professors of Social Work and is currently serving on the Reference Group for the Munro Review of Child Protection in England. Read More
