This publication was put together as a sharp and swift response to his speech discussing child protection to the NSPCC on the 12th November 2013, in which Gove repeated some familiar right-wing themes in his ‘considerations’ on social work. In particular Gove attacked social work education and practitioners who hold a strong social justice analysis and motivation at the centre of their work.
