We are excited to announce the title and dates for our Conference 2018. The University of Essex Centre for Social Work, on the Southend Campus, is hosting us all on April 20th and 21st 2018, and we are looking forward to seeing you there!
Our conferences are without doubt one of the most realistic and re-energising dates in the social work calendar, with hundreds of people coming together in solidarity to share experiences and advice.
This year’s plenaries are themed around:
1) Poverty, Inequality and Housing in Post-Grenfell Britain.
2) The Crisis of Children and Children’s Services
3) Racism and the Rise of Right Wing Populism
As always, one of the best things about the conference is the chance to network and hear about a variety of campaigns and research. We will be putting out a call for papers very soon! Watch this space for the Eventbrite booking page!
